Ecole Communautaire de Williamson is located in the Saintard region of Haiti. The school is made up of 2 separate school houses, one of which is shared by a church. 133 children attend, ages 6-12, and there is no access to clean water.
La Renessence was started in 2000 by a local, Pierre, after he learned there was no school in his town. He now has two schoolhouses next to each other where he and a few other teachers educate 96 students. The school has a well which accesses the contaminated groundwater.
Luly is located in the Saintard region of Haiti. The school, which is over 40 years old, teaches 291 students from age 5-14. There is no reliable water source for the school, so they get water from wherever they can find it and chlorine tablets are used when they have them.
The Kurar Primary Boys and Girl Schools are side-by-side in a small neighborhood in Haryana, India. The schools educate 1st-5th grade students; 125 boys and 136 girls. Unsafe drinking water has caused yellow fever, kidney stones and liver disease in both schools.
Haryana High School NKM educates 166 students in a small rural community in Haryana, India, where there is no access to clean water, so the teachers at the school pitch in whatever money they can to provide as much clean water for their students, but it’s not enough.
The Bhagal Primary School was started in 1958. The school won the first prize for cleanliness in 2016, at the “Saundariyakaran competition", but it still does not have access to safe drinking water. Since the groundwater is so contaminated, the schools existing pump isn't useful.
